2010 Perth celebrates 800 years

Perth 800 is a year long celebration taking place in 2010 to mark the 800th anniversary of the granting of the Royal Burgh Charter to Perth by King William the Lion of Scotland in 1210.

The year-long celebration, organised by Perth & Kinross Council, features a wide range of events across Perthshire. Perth 800 Opening Weekend starts the 2010 celebration off with a weekend of activities.
