Founded 1856 - Classic links course often used as an Open qualifier. Great location with a very friendly clubhouse. - Dunkeld & Birnam GC
Founded in 1892 the original Course, which was on flat ground beside the River Tay, was designed by Old Tom Morris. This was however taken over for trench digging practice in 1914 and never returned. The new course has a superb elevated hillside location. - Gleneagles
